(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect following an assault inside an elevator at the Rideau Street LRT station on Wednesday, April 9, at approximately 7:35 a.m.

The suspect is described as a Black woman, approximately 5’9” (1,75 m) tall, wearing dark-rimmed glasses, a tan jacket over a blue hooded sweatshirt, a black scarf, dark jeans, and tan boots with fur. She was carrying a black handbag.

Ottawa — Le Service de police d’Ottawa sollicite l’aide de la population afin d’identifier l’auteure d’une agression survenue à bord d’un ascenseur de la station de SLR de la rue Rideau, le mercredi 9 avril dernier, vers 7 h 35.

La suspecte a été décrite comme étant une femme de race noire, mesurant environ 1,75 m (5 pi 9 po), portant des lunettes à monture foncée, un manteau brun clair sur un chandail bleu à capuchon, une écharpe noire, un jean de couleur sombre, et des bottes brun clair bordées de fourrure. Elle portait aussi un sac à main noir.
