Commercial robbery in Stittsville//Suspects à identifier dans une affaire de braquage à Stittsville

(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service is asking for help to identify two suspects involved in a commercial robbery in the 100 block of Hobin Street in Stittsville on January 27th.

At approximately 11:14 p.m., the two suspects entered the store. Suspect one went behind the counter with a weapon in his right hand as suspect two stood by. Suspect one demanded money and products from staff. The suspects then left the store and ran west on Hobin Street.

Can you identify these suspects?

Suspect one is described as a black man, 6′ (1.83 m), of large build, approximately 250 lbs (113 kgs). At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black winter jacket with a hood up and a white maple leaf on it, a blue and white striped tuque with a multi-coloured buff around his mouth, black pants, dark laced shoes, and grey gloves.

Suspect two is a white man, 6′ (1.83 m), with a thin build and approximately 180 lbs (82 kg). At the time of the incident, he was wearing black pants, tan boots, and a green winter jacket with the hood up and fur around the hood. The same white maple leaf symbol is seen on the hood as suspect one.

Ottawa — Le Service de police d’Ottawa sollicite l’aide de la population afin d’identifier les deux auteurs d’un braquage survenu le 27 janvier dernier dans un commerce du pâté de maisons des 100 de la rue Hobin, à Stittsville.

Vers 23 h 14, les deux suspects se présentèrent dans le magasin. Le suspect n^o1 passa derrière le comptoir, une arme à la main droite, tandis que son complice se tenait prêt. Le suspect n^o1 ordonna aux employé de lui remettre de l’argent et de la marchandise. Les voleurs quittèrent ensuite les lieux, s’enfuyant à pied en direction Ouest sur la rue Hobin.

Le suspect n^o1 a été décrit comme étant un homme de race noire mesurant 1,83 m (6 pi), de forte carrure, pesant environ 113 kg (250 lb). Il portait alors un manteau d’hiver noir, une feuille d’érable blanche au capuchon, qui était remonté; une tuque rayée bleu et blanc, un chamois multicolore autour de la bouche, un pantalon noir, des chaussures sombres à lacets, et des gants gris.

Le suspect n^o2 a été décrit comme étant un homme de race blanche mesurant 1,83 m (6 pi), de carrure mince et pesant environ 82 kg (180 lb). Il portait alors un manteau d’hiver vert au capuchon bordé de fourrure et remonté, un pantalon noir et des bottes brun clair. Son capuchon arborait le même symbole de feuille d’érable blanche.
