Suspect to identify in Baseline Road bank robbery

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a bank robbery that occurred on January 10^th in the 700 block of Baseline Road.

At approximately 2:05 pm, the lone suspect entered the bank, brandished a black handgun and demanded money. He then went behind the teller stations and left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No physical injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as man, approximately 5’10” (178 cm), with an average build. At the time of the incident he was seen wearing an olive coloured winter coat with black sleeves, dark pants, black shoes, a balaclava, ski goggles and carrying a black duffle bag.
