Police are seeking assistance in identifying a vehicle and suspect involved in a hit and run.
The Ottawa Police Service Collisions Investigations Unit and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle and suspect involved in a hit and run.
On Tuesday 31st December 2019, at approximately 1640 hours, there was a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle in the parking lot of 3700 block of Strandherd Drive. The vehicle initially stopped, however left the scene without providing any vehicle or driver information to the injured pedestrian or witnesses. A photograph taken at the scene identifies the vehicle as a 2004-2005 Honda Civic with an Ontario Plate. The driver is described as male, 5’7 to 5’9 tall, 45-50 years old, medium build, tanned skin, short dark hair, had a middle eastern accent. Police are seeking any information to further identify the vehicle or driver. Please see the photo below of the vehicle, provided by police investigators.
