Assault on York Street – suspect to identify//Suspect à identifier dans une affaire de voies de fait, rue York

(Ottawa) –The Ottawa Police Central Investigations Section is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an assault in the 1-100 block of York Street on February 1st.

In the early morning hours, police were called for a disturbance at a licenced establishment. During the incident, the suspect struck the victim with a blunt object then fled the area on foot.

The victim sustained minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 50 years old, approximately 6’0” (183cm), with light hair and facial hair. At the time of the incident, he is seen wearing a brown leather jacket.

Tôt dans la matinée, les policiers furent appelés à intervenir relativement à des troubles dans un débit de boissons. Lors de l’incident en question, le suspect frappa la victime à l’aide d’un objet contondant, puis s’enfuit des environs à pied.

La victime fut légèrement blessée.

Le suspect a été décrit comme étant un homme de race blanche âgé d’environ 50 ans, mesurant autour de 1,83 m (6 pi), aux cheveux clairs et avec du poil au visage. Il portait alors un blouson de cuir brun.

Suspect to identify in an assault on Clarence Street//Suspect à identifier dans une affaire de voies de fait, rue Clarence

(Ottawa) –The Ottawa Police Central Investigations Section is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an assault in the 1-100 block of Clarence Street on December 7th, 2024.

In the early morning hours, the suspect approached the victim, said a few words and assaulted the victim before fleeing the area on foot.

The victim sustained minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a Middle Eastern male, 20-25 years old, approximately 5’9” (175cm), with a heavy build and facial hair. At the time of the incident, he is seen wearing a yellow track suit, black and yellow ball cap and black and red shoes.

Tôt en matinée, le suspect aborda la victime, lui adressa quelques mots puis l’agressa, pour ensuite repartir des lieux à pied.

La victime fut légèrement blessée.

Le suspect a été décrit comme étant un homme d’origine moyen-orientale, âgé entre 20 et 25 ans, mesurant environ 1,75 m (5 pi 9 po), de forte carrure, avec du poil au visage. Il était alors vêtu d’un survêtement jaune, d’une casquette de baseball noir et jaune, et de chaussures rouge et noir.

Suspect to identify in sexual assault//Suspect à identifier dans une affaire d’agression sexuelle

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Central Criminal Investigation Section is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect responsible for a sexual assault in the 500 block of Somerset Street West on December 29, 2024.
 
At approximately 3:10 p.m., the victim was riding an OC Transpo bus when the suspect approached them and began an interaction. The suspect then sexually assaulted the victim.

Vers 15 h 10, la victime se trouvait à bord d’un autobus d’OC Transpo quand le suspect l’aborda et lui engagea la conversation, pour ensuite l’agresser sexuellement.

Suspect to identify in Baseline Road bank robbery

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a bank robbery that occurred on January 10th in the 700 block of Baseline Road.
 
At approximately 2:05 pm, the lone suspect entered the bank, brandished a black handgun and demanded money.  He then went behind the teller stations and left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
 
No physical injuries were reported.
 
The suspect is described as man, approximately 5’10” (178 cm), with an average build. At the time of the incident he was seen wearing an olive coloured winter coat with black sleeves, dark pants, black shoes, a balaclava, ski goggles and carrying a black duffle bag.

Suspect to identify in a New Year’s Eve assault

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Central Criminal Investigation Section is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect in an assault on December 31, 2024, in the Lyon Street North and Albert Street area.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., the suspect and victim had a brief exchange before the victim was physically assaulted.

The victim did not sustain serious injuries.

The suspect is described as a white woman, around 20 to 30 years old, with blonde hair. At the time of the incident, she was seen wearing a long, white winter jacket and carrying a black bag.

Suspect to identify in an assault near Somerset Street West and Percy Street

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Central Criminal Investigation Section is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect in an assault on December 19, 2024, in the Somerset Street West and Percy Street area.
 
At approximately 6:30 p.m., the suspect had a brief interaction with the victim before physically assaulting them.
 
There were no serious physical injuries.
 
The suspect is described as a white man, around 20 to 30 years old, with a medium build and medium-length brown hair. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing skinny, dark-coloured jeans, a dark-coloured beanie, Vans shoes, and no socks. He was carrying a skateboard.

Suspect to identify in Bank Street commercial robbery; seeking public assistance

The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery on November 22nd in the 2000 block of Bank Street.

At approximately 3:05 pm, the suspect attended a store and attempted to steal merchandise, when approached by staff he threatened them with a weapon. The suspect then fled the area on foot.

There were no reported physical injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male, around 50 years old, with a medium build. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a black Helly Hansen jacket, black pants, a beige baseball cap, black shoes and a surgical mask.

Suspect sought in fraudulent use of stolen bank card

The Ottawa Police Service and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in fraudulent use of stolen bank card.

This suspect drove into the 2200 block of St. Laurent Blvd at around 1700 hrs on Sunday May 26th, in red SUV bearing a Quebec license plate. The suspect then exited their vehicle went up to an unoccupied vehicle where they smashed the back window and stole a bag which contained a wallet. The suspect proceeded to make fraudulent purchases with the victim’s debit card.

Suspect to be identified in a break and enter on Cooper St.

The Ottawa Police Service Break and Enter Unit and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a break and enter.

The suspect in the photos broke into a secure parking structure on the 400 block of Cooper St in the early morning hours of April 11th, 2024. Once inside, the suspect caused significant damage to the electrical system within the garage. Please see photos below, provided by investigators.

Suspects to identify in a break and enter

UPDATE: SUSPECTS IDENTIFIED

 

The Ottawa Police Service and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s attention in identifying three suspects in a break and enter.

The suspects broke into a condominium under construction located in the 100 block of Central Park Dr on the 29th of January, 2024 at approximately 10pm. Once inside the condominium the suspects caused damages to units under construction.
