Two suspects to be identified in fraud of nearly $10,000
The Ottawa Police Service and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects in a fraud of nearly $10,000.
On the 19th of September 2019, victim had their wallet stolen. One of the victim’s credit cards was subsequently used for fraudulent purchases totaling close to $10,000. Two male suspects were captured on video in one of the stores where some of the fraudulent transactions took place. Please see photos below provided by investigators.
Suspect #1: heavy set male, short dark hair and beard, pink shirt, dark pants, carrying a black purse, ring on middle finger on right hand.
Suspect #2: male, wearing red ball cap with white logo on front, white t-shirt with u/k logo on front, black/navy blue jacket with grey panels on front, dark pants and burgundy running shoes with white laces.
