Seeking to identify a man involved with sexual offenses on public transit
SUSPECT HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED
(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man involved in sexual offenses.
Between March 2017 and March 2018, a man entered OC Transpo buses and sat beside young adult women, on more than five occasions. It is alleged that he touched the women inappropriately by either brushing their leg or touching their thigh with his hands, and/or touch their foot with his feet.
He is described as a man with a darker complexion, in his late thirties, approx. 5’4”-5’6” (163 to 168cm), 150-160 lbs (68-73kg). He is balding at the top, wears glasses and was seen with a long black coat (see pictures).
