Suspect to identify in Meadowlands/Prince of Wales robbery investigation
The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect involved in three robberies in the Meadowlands/Prince of Wales area between February 16th and 17th.
The suspect has robbed three restaurants by pretending to be a paying customer, making a purchase. When the cash register is opened, the suspect jumps over the counter to reach it. The suspect then flees on foot with the stolen property.
The suspect is described as a White man, approximately 30-40 years old, 5’5″ to 5’8″ tall, with a medium build. During the robberies, he was wearing a tuque and a black ski mask using various pants and jackets.
