Suspect to identify in Broadhead Avenue break and enter / Suspect à identifier dans une affaire d’introduction par effraction, avenue Broadhead

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a September 23^rd break and enter.

At approximately 1:30 a.m., the suspect entered a residence in the 500 block of Broadhead and stole a wallet belonging to one of the homeowners. The suspect later used the credit and debit cards to make purchases at a business on Richmond Road shortly after.

The suspect is described as White, approximately 35 to 45 years old, with a medium build, with a beard and a bun. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a light green Under Armour hooded sweatshirt, glasses, dark pants and sneakers.

Anyone with information on the identity of this suspect or this incident is asked to contact the OPS Break and Enter Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 4533.

Le Service de police d’Ottawa (SPO) sollicite l’aide de la population en vue d’identifier l’auteur d’une introduction par effraction survenue le mardi 23 septembre dernier.

Vers 1 h 30 cette nuit-là, le suspect s’introduisit dans une résidence du pâté de maisons des 500 de l’avenue Broadhead, y dérobant un portefeuille appartenant à l’un des résidents. Peu après, le malfaiteur se servit des cartes de crédit et de débit volées pour effectuer des achats dans un commerce du chemin Richmond.

Le suspect a été décrit comme étant un homme de race blanche, âgé de 35 à 45 ans environ, de carrure moyenne, barbu et avec un chignon. Il portait alors un chandail vert à capuchon « Under Armour », des lunettes, un pantalon de couleur sombre, et des espadrilles.

Toute personne détenant des renseignements relatifs à cette affaire, ou qui serait en mesure d’identifier l’individu en question, est priée de communiquer avec l’Unité des introductions par effraction de la Police d’Ottawa en composant le 613-236-1222, poste 4533.
