Suspect to identify in Campeau Drive robbery / Suspect à identifier dans une affaire de vol qualifié, promenade Campeau
The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery on August 6th.
At approximately 9:06 a.m., the suspect entered a business in the 8000 block of Campeau Drive, took some merchandise under the guise of purchasing it, but threatened the cashier with a weapon before exiting the business.
The suspect is described as Black and in his 20s with a beard.
At the time of the incident, he wore a dark-coloured baseball cap with a red bandana underneath, reading glasses, a blue t-shirt with a “Just Do It” slogan, dark pants, and black Crocs with white socks. He also had a black backpack with a white zipper on the back and a white logo.
Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or details related to the incident was asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5116.
