Police seek to identify suspect in William and York Street assault / Suspect à identifier dans une affaire de voies de fait, angle des rues William et York

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an assault on October 11^th in the William Street and York Street area.

At approximately 12:15 a.m., the suspect struck the victim behind the head with a blunt object and left the area on foot.

At the time of the incident, the victim did not sustain any injuries.

The suspect is described as Middle Eastern, approximately 25-years-old, with a slim build. At the time of the incident he was seen wearing glasses, a light brown/khaki sweater, light blue jeans and white shoes.

 Le Service de police d’Ottawa (SPO) sollicite l’aide de la population en vue d’ identifier l’auteur d’une agression survenue le jeudi 11 octobre dernier aux alentours de la croisée des rues William et York.

Vers minuit quinze, le suspect frappa la victime derrière la tête à l’aide d’un object contondant, puis repartit des lieux à pied.

La victime ne fut pas blessée lors de l’agression.

Le suspect a été décrit comme étant un homme d’origine moyen-orientale âgé d’environ 25 ans et de carrure mince. Il portait alors des lunettes, un chandail brun clair-kaki, un jean bleu clair et des chaussures blanches.
