Suspect wanted for assault

On January 11th 2020, at approximately 2:00 p.m.  in the 100 block of Bayshore Drive Ottawa, witnesses observed the driver of a dark coloured SUV strike an unoccupied parked vehicle. The suspect driver was identified as an adult female of medium build 5′-5″ in height with dark complexion and spoke English with an accent.

The female suspect then assaulted one victim while stealing her cell phone and assaulted the second victim while attempting to steal her cell phone. The suspect subsequently fled the scene.

Ottawa Police West Criminal Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance to assist in identifying the suspect and looking for potential witnesses.
