Suspects to be identified in using counterfeit credit card
UPDATE: SUSPECTS HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED
The Ottawa Police Service Organized Fraud Unit and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects in the use of a counterfeit credit card.
On the 7th of December 2018, the suspects entered a commercial business, located in the 1500 block of Bank St, and made a purchase using the counterfeit card. The employee noticed during the transaction that the card was counterfeit. As the suspects realized this, they grabbed the card and fled the scene. Please see photos below provided by investigators.
