Police seek suspect in a robbery on Innes Rd

The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a robbery on Innes Rd.

On Saturday April 7th, 2018 at approximately 3:30am, a lone male suspect robbed a convenience store located in the 2600 block of Innes Rd in Blackburn Hamlet. The suspect demanded cigarettes and lottery tickets, claiming he had a knife and that he would hurt the cashier.

The suspect was described as a black male, between 23-27 years old, medium build, wearing a light grey Reebok Athletics hoodie, blue jeans and a black baseball cap with a logo and sticker.
