(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is investigating a December bank robbery and is seeking the public’s assistance to identify the suspect responsible.
On Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at approximately 2:15 pm, a lone suspect entered a bank situated along the 300 block of Montreal Road. The suspect produced a note making a demand for cash. The suspect fled the premise after obtaining an undisclosed quantity of money. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, 40-50 years, approximately 5’8” (173 cm), unshaven with a moustache. He also wore prescription glasses (view pictures.)
