Suspect wanted for Robbery of elderly victim

The Ottawa Police Service and Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect involved in a Robbery, Unlawfully in Dwelling and Administer Noxious Substance

On Dec 7, 2017 the suspect attended the residence of an elderly victim who was selling her residence on line. The suspect presented the victim with wine and chocolates as a gift for good negotiations. After ingesting the chocolate, the victim lost consciousness for several hours. The victim was found by family members and was transported to hospital for treatment. The victim was robbed of money and jewelry.

The suspect may be driving a newer model Jeep Cherokee and the suspect is described a male, white, 45-50years, 5’8, clean shaven, spoke English with a French accent wearing a dark hat and Blue winter jacket. .
