(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is investigating a residential break and enter and is seeking the public’s assistance to identify the suspect responsible.
On August 22, 2017 at approximately 1:00 am, a suspect unlawfully entered a residential premise situated along the 400 block of Nelson Street. The suspect removed property from one room before realizing the premise was occupied and fled. A stolen card was used to complete several transactions a short time after the break-in.
The suspect is described as a black male, 18-25 years old, 5’8″-5’10″(173 cm – 178 cm) with a thin build. At the time, the male was wearing a black jacket, black pants, beige high top shoes and a black ball cap with a Nike logo on the side (see images attached.)
