Sometime between January 18 - 25, 2010 suspects placed a 100 kg drum of Sodium cyanide at the entrance to a business located at 500 Commerce St. Vars, Ontario. Sodium cyanide is a very toxic and hazardous material that could have caused serious personal and environmental issues. It is likely that someone driving either a truck or a vehicle with a trailer is responsible for dumping this drum. On February 12, 2010 at 11:46 pm, the male victim was walking near the intersection of Dauphin and Portage, Orleans. An older model small red car slowed down near him and one of the occupants in the vehicle fired a paintball gun in his direction The victim was struck in the face just above the eye.

Ottawa - Theft at Future Shop

On January 11, 2010, at 6:45 pm, the male suspect entered the Future Shop located at 2020 Mer Bleue Road in Orleans. Once inside the store the suspect selected 10 Sony PSPs valued at over $2100. The suspect placed the PSPs in a Future Shop bag that he entered the store with. The suspect left the store making no attempt to pay for the merchandise. On January 21st , 2010 the suspect met with the victim at a local Tim Horton's. The accused was buying an expensive camera from the victim.The transaction was completed and the suspect paid the victim with a fraudulent CIBC money order in the amount of $2700. The complainant took a photo of the suspect with his digital camera prior to concluding their meeting. On the morning of January 10th, 2010 a taxi picked up a male and a female passenger at the Bay Suite Hotel on Albert Street, Ottawa. Shortly after, when reaching the intersection of Bank and St. Bernard the male passenger assaulted the taxi driver. The assaillant punched the taxi driver in the face and took off his belt to go after the victim. The suspect used the belt to cause over $5000 in mischief to the taxi vehicle. The suspect was captured on video. On November 24, 2009, at approximately 1:45 am, Solly's Pharmacy located at 25 Tapiola, Ottawa was broken into. The two suspects forced their way into the store via the front door. Once inside, the two males stole a large quantity of narcotics. The two thieves were last seen fleeing around the back of the mall towards the City pathways. Suspect 1 is a white male, 30's, shaved head with some possible facial hair, 5'5 - 5'7, 180 - 200lbs. Suspect 2 is a white male, mid 20's, 5'5, 170lbs. Both males at the time were wearing dark jackets with hoods, dark jeans, and gloves. On Dec 3rd, 2009 @ 02:15 two males attended the SAAB gas station located at 1057 Cyrville Rd. The black male approached the clerk inside the store while the white male stood guard at the front door. The black male attempted to go behind the counter and produced a black gun (found to be a pellet gun) in an effort to rob the clerk. The clerk fought off the black male who was soon joined by the white male in an effort to overpower the clerk. It became apparent the clerk was getting the upper hand on both males who subsequently fled on foot empty handed. As the black male was being chased outside he tripped on the curb and dropped the weapon which the clerk recovered.The males fled across the nearby mall and made their way to the Ogilvie north park where they entered an awaiting vehicle and made good their escape. The vehicle is described as a dark compact car. Suspect 1 - black male, 5'7", slim build, dressed all in black hoody and jogging pants, wore a black tuque. Suspect # 2- White male, 5'7", slim build, dressed all in black as well. Ottawa - Credit card frauds

On the 8th of September 2009 two suspects attended Metro Grocery Store, 1360 Richmond Road, Ottawa. The suspects using a forged credit card committed fraud. The suspect were captured on video (see below). These suspects are responsible for a number of similar frauds totaling several thousands of dollars at various Metro Stores during this previous year. These suspects might be linked to an older maroon or purple Ford Taurus.
