Police warn East end residents about man inappropriately touching women

The Ottawa Police Service and Crime Stoppers is warning East end residents to be vigilant following four reports about a man inappropriately touching women as he rides past them on his bicycle.

Between June 7 and July 31, four incidents have been reported to police in which the suspect description is similar.

The incidents occurred in areas between the Aviation Parkway and Orleans.

The suspect is described as male, white or middle-eastern, 16-26 years old, 5ft 7 – 5 ft 9 inches tall (170 –175cm), slim build, with brown eyes, short brown hair and a tanned complexion.

Anyone with information about these or similar incidents is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service East Criminal Investigations Section at 613-236-1222 ext. 3566 or anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or by downloading the Ottawa Police app.
