Suspect to be identified in two robberies at a pharmacy

The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit and Crime Stoppers are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect who robbed a pharmacy on two separate occasions.

On May 14th at approximately 5:30 pm a male suspect entered a pharmacy located in the 3300 block of McCarthy Rd and stole  hundreds of dollars worth or merchandise. After leaving the store he pulled out a knife, threatened an employee and ran off. On May 16th at approximately 10:00pm the same suspect stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from the same store and when confronted he once again threatened an employee with a knife. In both cases he used a reusable grocery bag to take the items from the store. The suspect was last seen headed toward the area of  Uplands Dr.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his mid 20’s, approx. 5’7, wearing a black mixed stripe t-shirt and black/greyish jeans. (Please see photos provided by investigators)
