Suspects sought in Montreal Road gas station robbery

(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is investigating the recent robbery of a gas station and is seeking the public’s assistance to identify the suspects responsible.

On Monday, October 16, 2017, at approximately 11:20 pm, two suspects entered a gas station situated along the 2000 block of Montreal Road. The suspects produced a note making a demand for cash. The robbery was interrupted when another customer entered and the suspect then fled empty-handed. There were no injuries.

The suspects are described as follows:

#1-Black male, approximately 20 years, slim build, 5’6” – 5’10” (168 cm – 178 cm), no facial hair, wearing a black coat, black pants with white stripes

#2-Black male, approximately 20 years, slim build, approximately 6’0” (183 cm), no facial hair, black hooded jacket, black pants, black shoes or boots. (view pictures)
