Suspect sought in residential break and enter

UPDATE: The Ottawa Police Service Break & Enter Unit has identified the female subject in this investigation.

The Ottawa Police Service Break & Enter Unit and Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a female suspect involved in a recent residential break & enter.

During the daytime hours on August 29, 2017, a suspect entered a home situated along the 1-100 block of Oberon Street. The home was occupied at the time but the occupant was sleeping. A female suspect entered through an unlocked door and made off with a larger flat screen television. The female was seen leaving the home with the television and getting into a taxi. The female suspect was then dropped off in the area of Carling/Broadview.

The suspect is described as being a Caucasian female, 30-40 years, approximately 5’4” (163 cm), thin build with shoulder-length dirty blonde hair (view pictures.)
