OTTAWA: Person of Interest to be identified in an assault investigation

UPDATE: Suspect identified and arrested.

The Ottawa Police Service Central Criminal Investigation Unit and Crime Stoppers is looking for public assistance in identifying a person of interest from an assault investigation.

On January 10th, 2017, around 00:30am, an aggravated assault took place in the 400 block of MacLaren Street. Investigators are looking to identify a male person of interest who was captured in the area.

He is described as black male, 5’8” (173cm), 150 lbs (68kg), black short hair, black baseball cap with white logo at the front, dark winter hoody jacket with a reddish / orange inside, blue jeans, and beige shoes/short boots
