Russell County: OPP needs assistance to identify a suspect involved in an Armed Robbery

The Russell County OPP and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s  assistance to identify a suspect involved in an Armed Robbery.

At approximately 5:35p.m., on January 25th 2016, members of Russell County OPP were dispatched to an armed robbery that occurred at the Caisse Populaire Trillium in Hammond, Ontario. A male with weapon entered the bank, approached the cashier and demanded money. Staff cooperated with the male, complied with his request and there were no injuries. After retrieving the money, the male fled the location on foot with his face still concealed. Police attended and secured the scene. (Suspect photo attached.)

The suspect was described as:

White Male

o 5’6” to 5’9”

o 150-160 lbs

o Facial hair (face partially concealed)

o Wearing prescription glasses

o Wearing dark colored clothing (coat, pants and hat) and a black backpack

o French

o 24-25 years old
