Crime Stoppers Receives Accolades During Crime Stoppers Month

On Friday January 22, 2016 at the Ottawa Police Services on Elgin St. the National Capital Area Crime Stoppers received a resounding endorsement and acknowledgment for their efforts in the community and making it a safer place. The event was hosted by Richard McMullen, President of National Capital Area Crime Stoppers, and included speeches by Councilor Eli El-Chantiry, Chair of the Ottawa Police Services Board, Ottawa centre MPP Yasir Naqvi, Ottawa Police Chief Charles Bordeleau and Dave Forster, President of the Ontario Association of Crime Stoppers.

The event was attended by members of the media including CTV, CFRA and the article “Improved Crime Stoppers tips net more guns, stolen property, arrests” was written up by the Ottawa Community News.
