Ottawa: Arson at Orleans Construction site

The Ottawa Police Arson Unit and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance on the identity of a suspect responsible for setting a fire to a construction trailer located at 3014 St.Joseph boulevard in Orleans on April 18th 2014 at approximately 03:30am.

An hour prior to this, a similar incident occured at another construction site located on Preston St. at Sidney in Little Italy. Also the site of a SOHO development.

Arson investigator believes the series of recent arsons targeting constructions sites in Ottawa are related. Please view the attached photo.

Two structures were damaged by fire at the SOHO Champagne condominium work-site located at 125 Hickory St.  The damage caused by the fires was estimated to be $150,000.
