Crime Stoppers and the Ottawa Police Service are seeking your assistance in identifying a male responsible for a series of frauds.
The male shown in the attached photos is responsible for using forged id to open a bank account. By using the victim’s personal information he was able to deposit a number of checks at banks located in the east end of Ottawa. The male would then make a series of money withdrawals from financial institutions in Montreal. The last withdrawal was made from the Montreal Casino on June 13, 2011. The amount fraudulently taken was over $15,000.
The stills show the same suspect, described as a male in his 50s, sporting glasses, thin build and balding. The male appears to be sporting a short trimmed beard with hair that is grey in color.
