Ottawa Robbery suspect identity

Crime Stoppers and the Ottawa Police Service are seeking your assistance in identifying a male believed to be responsible for two robberies.  

On July 8, 2012, at approximately 1:20 am, a lone male suspect entered a convenience store situated along the 400 block of Rideau St. The male made a demand for cash but fled the store empty handed. On the same date, at approximately 4:20 am, the same suspect entered a convenience store situated along the 300 block of Rideau St. The suspect made a demand for cash and fled the store with an undisclosed quantity of same. There were no injuries as a result of either robbery.

The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, 30-40 years of age, English speaking, large build, clean shaven, with graying hair. He was wearing green shorts, white running shoes and a white baseball cap. He changed shirts from a white and green striped long sleeve shirt in the initial robbery to a grey t-shirt for the second.
