2011 was a good year operationally for Crime Stoppers. We continue to see an increase in tips and the same applies to our successes. As you’ll see from our statistics below Crime Stoppers is an effective community safety tool, which greatly helps with the safety of our community.
During the month of January 2012 NCACS received 195 tips helping the police solve 2 cases. Consequently, 3 persons were arrested and charged with 7 charges (B&E and contraband cigarettes). $7,500 was seized in crime related property. Crime Stoppers paid $660 in rewards.
