The Hawkesbury OPP would like to inform parents that on November 17, 2010 a lone male driving around the area of Vankleek Hill, Ontario tried to lure a child into his vehicle.
A 10 year old girl was waiting for the bus by the road in front of her residence . The father of the child had to go in the house to get a jacket and upon his return noticed a black vehicle at the end of his driveway. Upon approaching, the vehicle turned around and took off towards Vankleek Hill. The daughter informed her father that the male wanted her to get inside the car; the door was open for her to get in where she observed a large doll on the rear seat of the vehicle. The same vehicle was seen in the Vankleek Hill area the next day.
The vehicle and suspect are described as:
- Very nice and shiny black sedan, possibly an Audi or BMW with shinny rim (chrome) with a slightly modified muffler. There was a doll in the back seat.
- The driver was a white male, early 20′s to 30′s with short black curly hair.
