Ottawa, ON and Gatineau, QC – Monday, June 7th, 2010 –National Capital Area Crime Stoppers today during a press conference unveiled their new promotional vehicle. The vehicle is a retired ambulance with an exterior wrap that is the result of a competition amongst the students of our four regional school boards. The competition was aimed at high school students in Fine Arts and Design. The winner of the design competition is Darya Tonkyn of Canterbury High School, Ottawa, Ontario. Darya was awarded the cash prize of $500.00. The vehicle will be used to promote the Crime Stoppers message out to the community and will be seen in parades and other community events throughout the National Capital area.
