Crime Stoppers and the Ottawa Police Service are seeking your help in identifying two suspects and a vehicle involved in a theft and subsequent frauds.
In November and December of 2009, Suspects are alleged to have stolen a wallet, used the credit cards to commit frauds in the Kanata area. In addition suspects used the identification from the stolen wallet to set up internet frauds purchasing Jewelry from victims in the west end of Ottawa and Almonte and paying with fake certified cheques.
Suspect #1 – white male in his 20’s, unshaven, wearing a red ball cap, a grey and black hooded shirt, grey jeans. On November 2nd, 2009 he was driving a grey or green Ford pickup.
Suspect # 2- White male, also in his 20’s and unshaven, short brown hair, wearing a beige jacket with dark brown sleeves and hood approx 5’10”, dark hair, slim build, wearing jeans and a red jacket, a grey shirt with an emblem of a bull on the front of the shirt.
