Sometime between January 18 – 25, 2010 suspects placed a 100 kg drum of Sodium cyanide at the entrance to a business located at 500 Commerce St. Vars, Ontario. Sodium cyanide is a very toxic and hazardous material that could have caused serious personal and environmental issues. It is likely that someone driving either a truck or a vehicle with a trailer is responsible for dumping this drum.
