On February 12, 2010 at 11:46 pm, the male victim was walking near the intersection of Dauphin and Portage, Orleans. An older model small red car slowed down near him and one of the occupants in the vehicle fired a paintball gun in his direction The victim was struck in the face just above the eye.

Ottawa - Theft at Future Shop

On January 11, 2010, at 6:45 pm, the male suspect entered the Future Shop located at 2020 Mer Bleue Road in Orleans. Once inside the store the suspect selected 10 Sony PSPs valued at over $2100. The suspect placed the PSPs in a Future Shop bag that he entered the store with. The suspect left the store making no attempt to pay for the merchandise. Bail or Jail 2010

Mark your calendar for Thursday April 22, 2010 when the Crime Stoppers major fundraiser "Bail or Jail" rolls into the St. Laurent Centre for fun and entertainment. You'll see our Community Leaders and Concerned Citizens like yourself appear before a Judge and be sent to jail for some amusing crimes as they try to raise bail, which goes to Crime Stoppers in our area. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for confidential and anonymous information that helps police solve crimes.

If you'd like to participate as a jailee, and you feel you can raise a few hundred dollars or more, you can register on line at www.crimestoppers.ca/jail or contact Marilyn Power (613-688-6812) our Bail or Jail coordinator.

You can also come out to the St.Laurent Centre main floor beneath the food court and watch the fun.

On January 21st , 2010 the suspect met with the victim at a local Tim Horton's. The accused was buying an expensive camera from the victim.The transaction was completed and the suspect paid the victim with a fraudulent CIBC money order in the amount of $2700. The complainant took a photo of the suspect with his digital camera prior to concluding their meeting. Ottawa - Break and Enter

On December 28th, 2009 two suspects committed a break and enter at 3-350 Chapel Street, Ottawa. The suspects were captured on video entering the building and exiting with the complainants belongings. Ottawa Police Service is seeking assistance in identifying the suspect in the Dark blue hoodie.

On the morning of January 10th, 2010 a taxi picked up a male and a female passenger at the Bay Suite Hotel on Albert Street, Ottawa. Shortly after, when reaching the intersection of Bank and St. Bernard the male passenger assaulted the taxi driver. The assaillant punched the taxi driver in the face and took off his belt to go after the victim. The suspect used the belt to cause over $5000 in mischief to the taxi vehicle. The suspect was captured on video.
