Ottawa Police Service is seeking the assistance of the public to solve an armed robbery that occurred at a Tim Horton's on Hunt Club Road in Ottawa.
On March 19, 2009 at approximately 9pm two males entered the Tim Horton's restaurant located at 1665 Hunt Club Road, at the intersection with Lorry Greenberg Drive. They threatened customers in the restaurant with a handgun before going into the cooking area where they demanded money from the staff. Before the staff could retrieve the cash the suspects decided to leave the restaurant on foot.
The first suspect was an olive skinned young male about 16-18 years of age. He was about 5'10" tall and weighed about 150 lbs. He was wearing glasses and a black winter jacket with a fur-trimmed hood. He had pulled his white t-shirt over his mouth and nose and carried what could be a handgun. He also wore dark jeans, black leather gloves and white running shoes.
The second suspect was a young black male about 16-18 years of age. He stood about 5'10" tall, weighed approximately 160 lbs, and had dark brown curly hair. He wore a brown jacket with a light coloured pattern on the front. He also wore dark pants and light coloured boots. He too had pulled his white t-shirt over half of his face.
