ATTEMPTED B&E AT LOCAL BANK ATM
(ST-ISIDORE, ON.) – The Hawkesbury OPP Detachment is presently investigating an attempted Break and Entry that occurred at the Scotiabank located in St-Isidore on the evening of January 16, 2009.
A person entered the ATM entrance of the bank and drilled a hole in a door leading into the bank. It is possible that the suspect may have been surprised by someone or something and left the area. No entry to the bank was made.
The damage to the door was discovered by ATM technicians on the following day and police were called to investigate. Nothing was stolen.
Photos of the suspect were taken by the bank surveillance system. Police believe that the same individual(s) may have been responsible for other ATM thefts in the area during past several months.
