On the afternoon of Christmas Day 2008 a passer by had noticed that all the doors of this newly constructed Minto display home on Renaud Road, had been damaged. The passer by informed police immediately when he returned home and the police were on the scene at approximately 1337 hrs. It appeared that entry had been gained through the front door after the windows had been smashed and the dead bolt opened by reaching inside.
On entering the premises the police discovered that all windows had been broken together with all the ceiling fixtures. Considerable vandalism was evident throughout the building with broken glass every where, an empty wine bottle was left on the floor in the main foyer, and show cupboards were damaged or broken off the walls. The toilet and sink were smashed and the electrical panel, located inside the utility cupboard, was pulled from the wall.
