Crime Stoppers and the Gatineau Police Service are seeking your help in solving a case of theft of lottery tickets from a Petro-Canada service station in Gatineau.
At about 6:15pm on June 14, 2008 a 30 year old man entered the Petro-Canada service station store located at 120 Boulevard St Raymond to buy some bread. He then joined the line to pay.
As the cashier was serving another client the suspect took advantage of the situation to snatch the display of lottery tickets that was on the counter. He put some of the tickets into his pocket and then headed for the washroom. He left the washroom with only his bread, having removed the tickets from the display, placing them in his pocket and leaving the display in the washroom. The suspect then left the store without taking the bread with him.
Apparently this is not the first time that this same suspect has been seen carrying out similar crimes.
The suspect is a white male, about 30 years old, 5’9″ tall, weighing about 160 lbs and had dark hair. He wore a red t-shirt.
