On the 13 of June 2008, at 07:30 AM, a white male entered St-Vincent Hospital by a side entrance. He walked to the patient computer room and stole a Dell computer. He left the hospital by the same side entrance.

Surveillance cameras filmed the suspect. He is described as a white male, 35-40 years old, short hair, curly at the front, wearing a shirt with cutoff sleeves and dark pants.

Scrap.shsCrime Stoppers and the Ottawa Police Service are seeking your help in identifying an armed suspect who robbed the Sunoco gas station located at 3201 Conroy Road.

Early on the morning of Saturday, May 17 2008 a male entered the gas station, used the restroom and then left. About 5 minutes later the same man returned, put a blue bandana over his face and threw a brick at the attendant. The brick missed the attendant and lodged itself in the cover of the cigarette case located behind the counter. The suspect started shouting and demanding money from the attendant. The suspect removed money from the cash till before demanding that the attendant hand over Players cigarettes from the case. He gathered up as many packets as he could and then fled the Sunoco store on his bicycle. He made off in an easterly direction on Johnson Road.

The suspect was a white male, between 19 and 21 years of age, about 5'7'' to 5'9'' tall, slim build and weighing about 130-140 lbs. He had a shaved head, wore a jersey style shirt and a blue bandana. At times he wore a blue New York Mets baseball cap. He rode a blue and yellow bicycle.

Since January 2008 a female suspect has attended several chartered banks in the Ottawa Area opening personal and corporate accounts using false names and counterfeit identifications. Once the accounts were created, counterfeit commercial cheques were deposited and the money subsequently withdrawn.
The suspect also used the identities of legitimate persons with good credit ratings, stealing their identities and setting up lines of credits.

The suspect is described as a white female 30 to 40-years-old, relatively short and of stocky build. She wore a long reddish brown wig to hide her identity.

Assault With a Weapon

Crime Stoppers and the Ottawa Police Service are seeking your help in solving a violent assault in the downtown area.

On the 5th of May 2008, at 940 AM, the victim parked his vehicle on Gilmour Street near Bank Street. Then the male walked to his doctor's office, which is located at 437 Gilmour Street. Before entering the building, he made a telephone call from his cellular telephone. While he was speaking on his cellular telephone, a male suspect approached him and said : "you made me bleed". The victim decided to move away from this individual but he was followed and the suspect stated again: "you made me bleed". Then without provocation the suspect hit the victim with a metal pipe on the side on the head. The victim fell to the sidewalk and the suspect continued to strike the victim with the pipe.
The assault ended when a bystander yelled at the suspect to drop the pipe.
The suspect was last seen running down an alleyway near the scene.

Description of Suspect: 25-40 year-old male, Caucasian or Olive skinned, 5'10" to 6'2", dark goatee (sparse), thin to medium build, English speaking (no accent). At the time of the incident he was wearing a dark knit hat with a flat top and dark jacket and pants. Another identifying feature is the fact that he was carrying a backpack with several items attached to it such as an umbrella.
