Crime Stoppers and the Gatineau Police Service are seeking your assistance in identifying the suspects involved in a break, enter and theft of guns from a store located in the City of Gatineau.
During the early hours of February 3, 2007, suspects broke into the hunting store “L’Archerot Plus” located at 128 Gatineau Avenue in the City of Gatineau. The thieves gained entry by breaking into the neighboring business “1001 Costumes”. Once inside the costume shop, the suspects broke through the common wall, entered the hunting store and neutralized the alarm system. The thieves then removed the guns and hunting gear from the shelves and racks before leaving the store.
The following items were taken: 2 twelve gauge Remington shotguns, 1 Smith and Wesson handgun, 1 CZ handgun and 1 Springfield handgun. The suspects also took “Rutwear” camouflage clothing, flashlights, telescopes, a surveillance camera, a portable 2-way radio and some cash.
Prior to the break and enter, 2 male suspects were seen loitering around the store. One of the suspects is described as a small man with a slight build.
