Gatineau CIBC Bank Robbery

During the evening of the 01 March 2007 at 6PM, a male suspect entered the CIBC Bank located at 25 Savane Boulevard in the Gatineau Sector. He lined up as a regular client waiting to be served by one of the bank tellers. As he approached one of the tellers he covered his face with a scarf and he presented a note to the teller telling her that he was armed and that he was robbing the bank.
The teller surrendered an undisclosed amount of cash as well as the bank’s explosive dye pack. The suspect then fled the bank on foot south bound on Savane Boulevard and the explosive dye pack went off. The suspect dropped the money and fled the area.
The suspect is described as 25 year old white male, 5 feet 10 inches, 160 lbs, French speaking, wearing a black coat, toque and scarf. He was also wearing dark glasses and blue jeans.
