Crime Stoppers and the Ottawa Police Service are seeking your help in identifying the suspects responsible for an armed robbery in the East end of the City.
On the 23 February 2008, four black males entered the Subway Restaurant located at 973 Montreal Rd. The suspects had their faces partially covered. Three of the suspects wore bandanas and the fourth suspect was wearing a skeleton mask.
The store clerk was overpowered by the suspects and placed in a chokehold and forced to the ground. One of the suspects was armed with a machete and he threatened to kill the clerk. However one of the other suspects stopped the machete-wielding suspect.
The suspects left the restaurant with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspects were caught on the stores surveillance camera. They all spoke English with an accent and are described as black males, 16 to 25 years old, 6 feet, 180 lbs.
