Crime Stoppers and the Gatineau Police Service are seeking your help in solving a break and enter followed by vandalism.
On the first of February 2008 between 3AM and 6AM, suspects broke into the Josma’s Appliance Store located at 200 Principale Street unit 6 in the Aylmer sector of Gatineau.
Entry was made by forcing the rear exit door. Once inside the suspects turned over a number of appliances and spray painted all of the appliances and interior walls of the store, causing thousands of dollars in damage. The suspects left with 2 canisters of freon.
The police investigation revealed that the graffittis left on the interior walls were racist in nature attacking people of middle-eastern descent.
Police would like to speak with 2 English speaking white males in their twenties who were in the store briefly earlier in the day.
The appliance store has since gone out of business.
