The Gatineau Police Service needs your help in the the investigation of a break, enter and theft at a hotel in the Hull Sector.
During the evening of the 21 January 2008 at 7:30 PM a male suspect attended the Four Points Hotel located at 35 Laurier Street in the Hull sector of Gatineau. He loitered on the third and fourth floors trying to open several doors without success. He left the hotel and returned the next day at 1:30 AM. He was able to enter an office and he was able to force open a liquor cabinet. The suspect placed numerous liquor bottles in a cardboard box and he was able to steal approximately $1000 worth of liquor.
The hotel was a victim of this type of theft three times since December.
On one occasion the suspect was caught on surveillance cameras. He is described as a white male approximately 20 years old, 5 feet 8 inches, wearing a dark coat, black toque and blue jeans (please see photo below).
