The Gatineau Police Service needs your help to identify a suspect responsible for the murder of a young woman in a parking lot on Gatineau Drive, in the Hull sector.
During the night of the 10 December 2006, at about 4 AM, the victim Kelly Morrisseau, a Vanier resident, was seen entering a white or grey vehicle near Montreal Road in Vanier. A subsequent investigation lead the investigators to believe that Miss Morrisseau was a prostitute and that the individual she left with was most likely a client.
About 1.5 hours later, at 5:30 AM, a passerby by who was walking his dog found Miss Morrisseau agonizing in Parking lot P-3 off Gatineau Drive, near Gamelin Boulevard.
She was naked and she was suffering from multiple stab wounds. Miss Kelly Morrisseau died en route to the hospital.
Description of the suspect: White male, 30 years old, 5’8″ to 5’10″, 180 lbs to 200 lbs, athletic, well built. His hair was blond, short and wavy. His general appearance was well kept. The suspect spoke English and French without an accent, however his maternal tongue is French.
Description of suspect vehicle: Oldsmobile Cutlass Sierras or Calais, 1985 to 1990 vintage, 4 door, white or light grey, spoke hubcaps. The vehicle has no rust and is in excellent condition with a shinny paint finish.
