The Ottawa Police Service needs your help in the investigation of an armed robbery at a convenience store in the Vanier area.
On the 4 of January 2008 at about 2:30 AM a masked male entered the Mac’s Milk Store located at 598 Montreal Road. He walked up to the cashier and threatened him with a hammer demanding money from the cash register. The cashier surrendered an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then demanded the cahier’s wallet. The suspect took one of the identification cards from the wallet and then he fled the store after threatening the cashier not to call the police.
The suspect was caught on the store’s video surveillance camera. He is described as a white male, 19 to 22 years old, green eyes, 5 feet 10 inches, medium build, dark pants and a dark fur lined coat. The suspect was English speaking and he wore gloves and a mask during the robbery.
