Suspect to be Identified

Jewellery Theft in Aylmer

The Gatineau Police Service has requested that the Crime Stoppers Organization assist them in solving a crime where numerous rings were stolen.

On the 16 June 2007 at 3 PM a male suspect attended the jewellery store “ Le Chateau d’Or” located in the Aylmer Shopping Mall at 181 Principale Street. He asked the shopkeeper if he could view a tray of about 70 rings. At that time a female accomplice attended the jewellery store and joined the male suspect. The female suspect tried on several rings. The male suspect grabbed the tray and both suspects fled the store. The female left via the front entrance of the mall and the male suspect left by the rear exit doors.
Witnesses saw the suspects enter and flee in a small dark vehicle.

The suspects are described as:

1-White male, 30-35 years old, 5’5”, 150 lbs, brown curly hair, goatee, spoke English, wore a stripped white T-Shirt and blue jeans;

2-White female, 30 years old, 5’11”, 120 lbs, slim build, blond hair in a pony tail, white t-shirt with a white and brown stripe, blue jeans.

Both of these suspects were involved in another theft of jewellery on the 31 August 2007 at the Roméo Gourgue Jewellery Store located in the Promenades de l’Outaouais in Gatineau.

The Gatineau Police Service has requested that the Crime Stoppers’ Organization seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect responsible for the murder of a young woman in a parking lot on Gatineau Drive, in the Hull sector.

During the night of the 10 December 2006, at about 4 AM, the victim Kelly Morrisseau, a Vanier resident, was seen entering a white or grey vehicle near Montreal Road in Vanier. A subsequent investigation lead the investigators to believe that Miss Morrisseau was a prostitute and that the individual she left with was most likely a client.

At 5:30 AM, which is 1.5 hours latter, a passerby by who was walking his dog, found Miss Morrisseau agonizing in Parking lot P-3 off Gatineau Drive, near Gamelin Boulevard. She was naked and she was suffering from multiple stab wounds. Miss Kelly Morrisseau died en route to the hospital.

Description of the suspect: White male, 30 years old, 5’8” to 5’10”, 180 lbs to 200 lbs, athletic, well built. His hair was blond, short and wavy. His general appearance was well kept. The suspect spoke English and French without an accent, however his maternal tongue is French.

Description of suspect vehicle: Oldsmobile Cutlass Sierras or Calais, 1985 to 1990 vintage, 4 door, white or light grey, spoke hubcaps. The vehicle has no rust and is in excellent condition with a shinny paint finish.

The Ottawa Police Service has requested that the Crime Stoppers’ Organization seek the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects involved in a recent break and enter on Auriga Drive in Nepean at the Administration Offices of the Community Non-Pofit Housing Corporation.

On August 26, 2007 police, responding to a report of suspicious circumstances received just before 10:00pm, found that a window on the ground floor of 39 Auriga Drive had been smashed. Inside they found that computer equipment had been removed from a workstation located directly in front of the smashed window. Computer cables were strewn on the floor leading up to the window.
About 15 minutes earlier two men were seen arriving in the parking lot in a white car, probably a white Pontiac Sunfire Model. They reversed the car into a space at the south end of the parking area and proceeded to walk around the building, behaving in a rather suspicious manner, looking into windows and checking cars in the lot. A few minutes later, at about ten minutes to 10:00pm the men and vehicle were seen leaving the parking lot.

The first suspect and the driver of the vehicle was a man of about 20-25 years of age, slimly built, olive-skinned, 5’ 9” in height with short dark hair and no facial hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt, blue pants and white sneakers.

The second suspect was a white male, 5’8” in height, slimly built and wearing camouflage pants, dark boots and a dark t-shirt.

The vehicle was a white older model Pontiac Sunfire , two doors, 5 spoke rims with a black bug deflector up front and a small spoiler at the rear.
