Travel Trailer Theft

Ottawa Police have requested Crime Stoppers’ Organization seek the assistance of the public in identifying the suspects involved in the theft of a travel trailer from the Freedom RV dealership that is located on Prince of Wales Drive next to Car Canada.
At about 10pm on Sunday evening March 25, 2007 a travel trailer was removed from the lot of the Freedom RV dealership located at 5797 Prince of Wales Drive next to Car Canada. The trailer is a Desert Fox Travel Trailer of Northwood Manufacturing in Virginia and is valued at about $40,000.00. A picture of the trailer is shown complete with the decals that were attached when it was stolen. A feature of the trailer is that it has a tow bar and not a fifth wheel coupling as is usual with a trailer of this size. It may be that the trailer is slightly damaged as a result of a collision with the vehicle that was used as a blocker at the entrance to the lot. The blocker vehicle was found, after the theft, to have been slightly damaged.
If you know who may be responsible for this incident, or any other criminal activity, call Crime Stoppers at 613-233-TIPS (613 233 8477). Crime Stoppers wants your information, not your name. If your information leads to an arrest or a charge, you could qualify for a cash reward of up to $2000.
