Attempted Homicide

Crime Stoppers and the Gatineau Police Service are seeking your assistance in identifying the suspects involved in an attempted homicide on Rue Du Portage in the Hull sector of Gatineau.
During the night of August 19, 2006 at about 1:40am a man left the Cosmos Bar located at 101 Rue Du Portage in the Hull sector of Gatineau. He made his way across the street toward his car that was parked on the same street. At the same time a red 1990’s Honda Civic with two men on board was cruising in a westerly direction on Rue Du Portage. When the red Civic arrived in front of 101 Rue Du Portage the passenger in the vehicle pulled out a hand gun and fired twice in the direction of the man who had just left the Bar. The victim was hit just above the left knee. The red Civic then fled the scene in a westerly direction on Rue Du Portage.
The victim took refuge near to a neighbouring Italian Pizza Restaurant and the police arrived shortly afterwards.
