Crime Stoppers and the Ottawa Police Service are seeking your assistance in identifying the suspect(s) involved in two cases of arson that occurred on Colonnade Road in Nepean on November 5, 2006 and January 27, 2007 respectively.
On the evening of November 5, 2006, at approximately 9:40pm, the premises of Ottawa Door and Windows, located at 80 Colonnade Road in Nepean was broken into. The suspect(s) then started a fire inside the building and before it could be extinguished a total of about $30,000 in damages was sustained. A blue four-door car was seen leaving the area shortly after the fire started.
On the evening of January 27, 2007, at approximately 6:50pm, a suspect entered a trailer that was parked on the premises of Mattress Mart located at 60 Colonnade Road in Nepean. A fire was set in the trailer and the damages sustained amounted to about $7,000. An unknown person was observed at the scene walking toward the trailer in a westerly direction. The suspect was wearing dark clothing and carried a dark colored knapsack.
